School groups – The varied terrain within the 84-acre grounds offers many opportunities for lesson and curriculum support. Each programme delivered by our fully-qualified staff has a range of different aims and outcomes centred on children’s/young people’s learning and development. Programmes target all age groups including Foundation, Key Stage 1, Key Stage 2 and Secondary School Level. Programmes are offered appropriate to ages of the children participating. We offer a range of personal development and family courses throughout the year with qualified tutors offering theoretical and practical guidance. Youth groups – Hudnall Park is open to a variety of external groups. Whether it is for an activity camp during school holidays, a sports team looking to improve fitness and teamwork, scout group outings, outings for disability groups or youth projects, there are programmes to suit everyone. Bookings can be tailored by individual programme, day visit or residential visit across a number of days.
Staff teams from non-profit organisations – Hudnall Park has a range of programmes specifically designed to get teams motivated, working together and trusting each other in a variety of ways. Fully qualified Services for Young People staff can work with teams to develop and improve on essential teamwork and problem-solving skills either in the beautiful surroundings of Hudnall Park or at your venue.
A fun day out for staff from non-profit organisations can be a great reward for hard work and good results or to get to know each other outside of the work environment. The activity days offer a high-quality experience and are run by fully qualified, professional instructors. A personalised programme of activities can be created to reflect your requirements.
The indoor facilities can be used for training, meetings or conferences and are available to organisations.
Duke of Edinburgh's Award expeditions - Hudnall Park is situated in 85 acres of private mixed woodland and meadow in an area of outstanding natural beauty with some of the best walking and cycling countryside in Hertfordshire. Choosing a Duke of Edinburgh’s Award expedition to Hudnall Park will give you a safe venue in which to camp. It has easy access to local areas of interest via an excellent network of footpaths that lead straight onto National Trust land. It is easily accessible by road and rail with train stations in the nearby towns of Berkhamsted, Hemel Hempstead and Tring.
Hudnall Park also run residential courses that fulfil the requirements for the Duke of Edinburgh's Gold Award Residential Section.
Exchange student programmes - The site is perfect as a base for exchange student programmes. Visiting groups can stay in their own accommodation, undertake adventurous, team-building programmes and use the site grounds for recreational games and workshops. Due to the close proximity to nearby areas of interest including Hemel Hempstead and Whipsnade Zoo, visiting groups are perfectly located if they wish to take part in off-site visits during their stay at Hudnall Park.
