Services for Young People provides youth work projects, information, advice, guidance, work related learning and wider support for young people aged 11 to 17 and up to 25 for some vulnerable groups.
Our mission is to meet the needs of children and young people with special education needs and/or disabilities (SEND), aged 0-25, as close to home as possible, improve outcomes for wellbeing and attainment, widen the choices available to them, remove barriers to learning and identify ways to use resources more effectively.
The Herts Mind Network provides mental health support and has dedicated services for 15-18 year-olds.
Mind in Herts is a provider of mental health services in Hertfordshire and has an office in Hertsmere, providing services for people aged 16 and over.
Services include: social support, workshops for recovery and wellbeing, counselling, 1:1 emotional and practical support, vocational support, a young people’s group and outreach support in Three Rivers.

'Fit, Fed and Read' Summer Programme and Career Mode programmes are offered.
One YMCA delivers a range of youth work sessions, programmes and services across Watford, Three Rivers, Welwyn Garden City, Hatfield and other areas throughout Hertfordshire. YMCA helps young people gain support and advice in a safe environment, creating opportunities whilst having fun, learning to lead healthy lifestyles and make informed decisions.
Three Rivers District Council lists a range of activities to support young people covering youth, arts, play and sporting opportunities.
The Three Rivers Youth Council’s aim is facilitating school students and school councillors in playing an active role in society as per the Citizenship curriculum. This means debating issues, driving change and letting young people lead.
