The 2023 Winter Prom brought together young people from Services for Young People (SfYP) projects across the whole of Hertfordshire. Young people from diverse backgrounds enjoyed making new friends and celebrating everything they have achieved through their involvement with SfYP projects during the year.
Young people chose the theme of the event and also helped to plan and organise it themselves. They worked together with enthusiasm and creativity to design and make decorations for the venue, including the impressive giant balloon arches. There was a selfie mirror to capture memories of the night and lots of delicious pick and mix treats to snack on.
A Youth Support Worker in the SfYP St Albans Team took on the role of DJ for the evening, playing an eclectic mix of music.
