Sexual Health Week 2024 runs from 9 to 15 September, and this year’s theme is ‘Are You Feeling It?’ The theme focuses on how mental and sexual health are connected and the benefits of early support.

Services for Young People (SfYP) offers a range of sexual health services, alongside advice on relationships and emotional wellbeing. Our Youth Workers and Advisers give individualised support which empowers young people look after both their physical and mental health. Young people aged up to 19 can visit the 11-5 Project at their local SfYP young people’s centre or contact their local area team for:

  • Free condoms
  • Free chlamydia and gonorrhoea testing (dual testing)
  • Free pregnancy testing
  • Advice on sexual and general health and relationships

Care leavers, young LGBT+ people, and those with learning difficulties and/or learning disabilities can access these services up to the age of 25. All services are free and confidential. Young people can make an appointment or just drop in during the opening hours.

Find more information, opening times, and contact details on our Information, advice and support at young people's centres webpage.

Young people can access the same sexual health services at our weekly term-time youth work projects. At these projects, our professionally trained Youth Workers provide support in one-to-one and group settings, focusing on health, emotional wellbeing, and personal safety. Young people can discuss any concerns they may have, learn to recognise and build healthy relationships, and boost their confidence and self-esteem.

Our autumn 2024 youth work projects start on 16 September. Get full details here:
